January 2005

  • 1-3 Gene blames himself for the fact that Matt was not stopped when he had the chance
  • 1-5 But right now Gene and CW are discovering that the island is... alive!
  • 1-7 The felines dicover their mephit hosts were not being colloquial
  • 1-10 The Friendship Island entity guards all the visitors to her shores
  • 1-12 Everyone urges Gene and CatsWhisker to stay and enjoy their vacation
  • 1-14 The felines are taken away to make cat soup
  • 1-17 In ancient Canovia, Tavie's duplicate is learning fast
  • 1-19 Not quite perfect yet, but getting there
  • 1-21 Tavie's duplicate urges her 'parents' to look forward to their true daughter
  • 1-24 In Furriston, Eubie goes into histrionics upon being pursued by the Furry Unity thug
  • 1-26 The bully has no idea of how elaborate the hiding places of Bev's place can be...
  • 1-28 ...Not that it matters. He hasn't the sense to avoid Eubie's skunky friends
  • 1-31 Back on Friendship Island, Gene and CW are in the soup

    February 2005

  • 2-2 The island entity needs Gene and CatsWhisker's help...
  • 2-4 ...and the other island members sneak away
  • 2-7 Within her influence, the entity asks Gene and CW not to leave her
  • 2-9 Indeed, she seems determined not to let them leave...
  • 2-11 ...and is prepared to make their stay quite pleasant
  • 2-14 But Gene and CW cannot stay, and they tell the entity why
  • 2-16 The entity makes Gene an offer that CatsWhisker refuses
  • 2-18 Gene is quite aware of who and what it is that is involved
  • 2-21 Their longtime foe wants Gene out of the way - to obtain CatsWhisker
  • 2-23 CatsWhisker remembers what happened and how she first met Gene
  • 2-25 Because of Matt, CW initially hated all tomcats - Gene included
  • 2-28 CatsWhisker wishes the past would stay in the past

    March 2005

  • 3-2 Gene tells his friends about Matt... a matagot
  • 3-4 The Kotreeka Birds don't want CW to be unhappy
  • 3-7 Back in Furriston, the Transgressioneer is relieved to see Martin...
  • 3-9 ...because he feels I'Brolent would kill him. (And I'Brolent would.)
  • 3-11 Martin, on the other hand, is more practical. (To a certain degree)
  • 3-14 On the island, Gene finally finds the spot he was seeking, to...
  • 3-16 ...propose to CatsWhisker! Which CatsWhisker already figured out ^_^
  • 3-18 So.... yes!
  • 3-21 The nosy island entity makes things wet for the felines...
  • 3-23 ...because now she knows they will have to leave
  • 3-25 Gene wanted to pick the time and location to propose - CW knew that
  • 3-28 Tavie's duplicate sends her congratulations
  • 3-30 The creation of a twin Tavatiana may not mean what Gene thinks

    April 2005

  • 4-1 Tavie's duplicate plans to give her foes something to discover
  • 4-4 Gene and CW wanted to keep their wedding plans secret. Yeah, right
  • 4-6 Apparently not even Gene was keeping anything secret from his friends
  • 4-8 But Gene and CW have both friends and enemies...
  • 4-11 ...even as far back as when they themselves first became friends...
  • 4-13 ...and CW got to explain why she reacted that way to Gene...
  • 4-15 ...and that Matt actually believes that she will come back to him!
  • 4-18 Gene and CW talk over how many children they should have one day
  • 4-20 The island is ready to repel her enemies - about which Gene wonders...
  • 4-22 ...and CW as well. The answer occurs to them both about the Transgressioneers...
  • 4-25 ...that they are updated Canovian puppets. Which they hesistate to tell the island
  • 4-27 Not that they needed to. The island entity already knows about the puppets
  • 4-29 The island entity explains what her motiives are...

    May 2005

  • 5-2 ...as a Transgressioneer submarine approaches the island
  • 5-4 The skunks watch their apporach - Moonlight goes to investigate
  • 5-6 They enter the Haunted Grotto - which lives up to its name!
  • 5-9 The skeletons attack the terrified Transgressioneers...
  • 5-11 ...who, despite their fighting, are dragged down one by one...
  • 5-13 ...until not a trace remains that they ever set foot inside the grotto
  • 5-16 Moonlight waits for the island entity to work her renewing magic
  • 5-18 The puppets, reformed by the entity, are greeted by Moonlight
  • 5-20 Hannah and Nebbie are ready for the island's new arrivals
  • 5-23 The entity explains that Gene and CW gave her the power to renew the puppets...
  • 5-25 ...which is why, now, that they all look like miniature versions of Gene and CW!
  • 5-27 The puppets now have ears - they didn't before (Transgressioneer antennae instead)
  • 5-30 The Transgressioneer base frantically tries to reach the submarine task force...

    June 2005

  • 6-1 ...to no avail. The amphibians prepare to use recombinant energy to fight back
  • 6-3 The submarine is put into a matter-energy reaction flux...
  • 6-6 ...which makes the source of the communication to the sub known...
  • 6-8 ...and Gene hopes that his guess is wrong, for the source appears to be a D/Net node!
  • 6-10 An evil self-aware D/Net node could wreak incalculable destruction to the entire world
  • 6-13 The freed puppets comprehend the danger and commit themselves to assist Gene and CW
  • 6-15 The island entity draws two of her new children into herself...
  • 6-17 ...and restores their outer appearance to that of the Transgressioneers!
  • 6-20 Matt is informed that his attempt to kill Gene has failed
  • 6-22 When Matt discovers why his attempt failed, he dissolves the partnership
  • 6-24 The puppets reveal that Matt was the one who initally created them for their leader
  • 6-27 Gene now knows Matt didn't really want to kill him - but wanted his partner to think he had
  • 6-29 Matt wants the power of life and death over Gene, so that he will have control over CW
  • 7-1 The island entity knows who Matt is, and will defend her children no matter where they are

    July 2005

  • 7-4 In ancient Canovia, Tavatiana is experiencing the joys of pregnancy O_O
  • 7-6 Cotton is okay with that... he wants very much to be the father of Tavie's children
  • 7-8 The Old Doe prepares a tonic for Tavatiana's maternal stress
  • 7-11 The disguised puppets know their leader will recapture the sub, and plan to be aboard
  • 7-13 Hannah swims out to the sub with the two puppets, and the entity makes them unconcious
  • 7-15 The robot drones take the sub (and the puppets) back to the Leader
  • 7-18 The felines talk about their incredible vacation this time...
  • 7-20 ...and next time, who knows? Maybe they'll have a real one next time!
  • 7-22 But of course that doesn't stop them from having fun right now ^_^
  • 7-25 Gene rediscovers that it's always the tomcat's fault...
  • 7-27 ...even when it's not the tomcat's fault, it's the tomcat's fault
  • 7-29 Gene, being the tomcat he is, accepts his punishment gracefully

    August 2005

  • 8-1 The amphibians set things up so that Gene and CW must return someday
  • 8-3 The kotreeka birds explain to Burlie and Moonlight what the felines are up to
  • 8-5 Hannah takes the kitties back to the house
  • 8-8 Next morning, they prepare to leave - and the kotreeka birds know it
  • 8-10 The felines bid their island friends a fond farewell - and promise to return
  • 8-12 And so ends the adventure on Friendship Island
  • 8-15 Back in Furriston, the Transgressioneer is told that the felines are returning...
  • 8-17 ...and the news, apparently, causes him to go all to pieces!
  • 8-19 The two undercover puppets have joined the Leader at Control Base
  • 8-22 Gene has the blahs about their vacation ending and having to come home
  • 8-24 The felines tell their friends about their Friendship Island visit...
  • 8-26 ...and discover that a new job is waiting for them both
  • 8-29 Gene's scanner has deduced that the Leader is a self-aware device...
  • 8-31 ...but could not have guessed that the device is a D/Net node!

    September 2005

  • 9-2 The kitties let the scanner freak out while they catch up with local news
  • 9-5 The Furry Unity thug visits his boss in prison
  • 9-7 The bully wishes he could attack Eubie - but skunk protection changes his mind
  • 9-9 Eubie sees his old self in the actions of his bullying persecutor
  • 9-12 Gene's scanner is made aware of the situation with the Leader
  • 9-14 The other Transgressioneers notice how different the two puppets are
  • 9-16 CatsWhisker is apprehensive about the new position she and Gene will have
  • 9-19 I'Brolent tells her that her replacement, Borzoi, is working hard to redeem himself
  • 9-21 Borzoi does not want to leave this plane of existence with his debts unpaid
  • 9-23 The felines try to adjust to their newfound fame as 'superheroes'
  • 9-26 CatsWhisker is even more apprehensive - and Gene isn't making it any easier
  • 9-28 Gene explains to Bev that his company is giving he and CW the technology to do their job
  • 9-30 Devon Lynxen thinks Gene should understand why CatsWhisker is acting the way she is

    October 2005

  • 10-3 Gene doesn't think the usual reasons apply to CW - CW doesn't seem to mind
  • 10-5 Gene does think it's all a thinly-veiled reason for CW to pounce him whenever she wants
  • 10-7 Mr Lynxen hopes that Gene and CatsWhisker have not forgotten about Eubie's situation
  • 10-10 Back in ancient Canovia, a pregnant Tavatiana is having the time of her life
  • 10-12 Cotton was worried because of what the elder Avariss did to prevent her from having a baby
  • 10-14 But their baby is indeed healthy! In fact, she even touches her parent's minds with hers
  • 10-17 The elder Avariss wanted to keep Tavie from giving birth for just that exact reason
  • 10-19 Tavatiana wants to leave her old life permanently and stay in ancient Canovia
  • 10-21 Cotton realizes that now Tavie has been infected by Cotton Taylor Style
  • 10-24 And Tavie wastes no time in getting into the swim of things
  • 10-26 Cotton briefs Tavie on the intricacies of Cotton Taylor Style
  • 10-28 The Old Doe hears Tavie's unborn baby calling, and answers
  • 10-31 Cotton and Tavie are amazed at how much the Old Doe knows about the unborn

    November 2005

  • 11-2 Now that they know their daughter better, they decide to name her Michelle
  • 11-4 Ancient Canovia welcomes its newest (though yet unborn) citizen
  • 11-7 Realizing that she won't be going back, Tavie gives her duplicate the word...
  • 11-9 ...to being transferring power of office to Thalburd. Who is outraged...
  • 11-11 ...that (to him) Tavie's foes have driven her away. And takes his revenge
  • 11-14 But Tavie's unborn baby senses that all may not be well - and tells her parents
  • 11-16 Tavie's double questions Thalburd about her foes - and Thalburd bends the truth
  • 11-18 Deep below the capital, Thalburd keeps the two council members prisoner
  • 11-21 Tavie and Cotton think over what Michelle may have been trying to tell them
  • 11-23 Cotton deduces that perhaps Thalburd thought more of Tavie than she was aware
  • 11-25 And Michelle makes Thalburd aware that his actions are known to her
  • 11-28 Back in Furriston, Gene and CatsWhisker begin their new positions
  • 11-30 Gene balks at the idea of uniforms. Seeing CW in hers changes his mind, though

    December 2005

  • 12-2 The comic doesn't exactly break the fourth wall here - but it hits it pretty hard ^_^
  • 12-5 The felines discover that Mako is building their unique set of wheels for them
  • 12-7 Their new high-tech car responds to the felines' mental commands
  • 12-9 Gene tries desperately to avoid pop-culture superhero cliches. To no avail.
  • 12-12 During testing, the felines are called back to the lab - an emergency!
  • 12-14 The Transgressioneers are causing trouble at the Furriston Cultural Center
  • 12-16 With Gene's experimental project loaded aboard, they take off for the center
  • 12-19 En route, Gene explains the project he's been experimenting with
  • 12-21 CatsWhisker has an idea about how they might use the uniqueness of their vehicle
  • 12-23 Gene and CW's car is spotted - but Gene and CW are not in it
  • 12-26 Gene sees why the Transgressioneers encountered no opposition
  • 12-28 They encounter some opposition NOW
  • 12-30 Now that the citizens can fight back, they do
